Ingrid E. Slezak, Attorney at Law, is a specialist in divorce and family law mediation. She holds her B.A. from Harvard University and her J.D. from Boston College. She received advanced training in mediation from the Center for Dispute Resolution in Boulder, Colorado and the Harvard Law School Mediation Program. She also has specialized training from the graduate tax program at the University of Denver. Ingrid was a domestic relations lawyer before turning her practice full time to mediation in 1994. Her practice deals with all aspects of family law, including separations, custody, visitation, property settlements, spousal and child support, as well as pre-nuptial and domestic partnership agreements. She also serves as a court-appointed attorney to represent the children in custody and visitation disputes. She is a practitioner member of the Association for Conflict Resolution (formerly Academy of Family Mediators,) a member of the Oregon Mediation Association (OMA), the Domestic Relations Attorney-Mediator Alliance (DRAMA), and the bar in Oregon and Colorado. | ||||||||||||||||||

She is currently on the board of the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners, and served as a member of the Oregon Family Law Task Force, the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, the Executive Committee of the Multnomah Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. As a consultant to Clackamas County Family Court Services from 1994 through 1997, she developed and implemented the mandatory Parent Education class currently given in both Clackamas and Multnomah counties. |
